APSID Executive Board Election 2026 Nomination Period: September 1 – October 2, 2026
In accordance with the Constitution, offices of the Executive Board are open for election every 4 years. Such elections will take place online during the one month preceding the APSID Congress of the election year. However, considering the cancellation of the joint congress this year, we decide to hold it at the IEI School in December 2026.
Posts open for contest in the upcoming 2026 election are:
- President-Elect (2027-2029)
- Secretary (2027 – 2031)
- Education and Training Working Party Chair (2027 – 2031)
Descriptions of the positions can be found in the attached APSID Constitution.
Tentative timeline:
- Email and Website Announcement: September 1, 2026
- Nomination Period: September 1, 2026 – October 2, 2026
Candidates must confirm their candidature by submitting the required nomination form, candidature form, curriculum vitae, profile image, and election statement by October 2, 2026. Please send the required documents to APSID’s email at apsid@apsocid.org. - Publicity period commences: The APSID Executive Board will verify and finalize the candidatures. Candidate information will be available on the APSID website starting October 16, 2026.
- Online Polling:October 19, 2026 – November 20, 2026
- Results Ratification: During the 2026 Vietnam IEI School on December 2–3, 2026

APSID-Sponsored Fellowship for Junior Members (2026)

APSID-Sponsored Fellowship for Junior Members (2026) Application: 28 August- 30 September 2026
The application of the APSID Fellowship program for Junior Members (2026) will be open from 28 August 2026 to 30 September 2026. This fellowship is intended to support junior members to:
- Identify gaps in clinical service, diagnostic/therapeutic procedures, or laboratory techniques in primary immunodeficiency at their home institution (can be clinical or laboratory-focused).
- Identify an APSID Center of Excellence (CoE) that routinely provides this service.
- Undertake targeted learning at the host center to transfer expertise back to the home institution.
How to apply?
Interested candidates must submit:
- Completed Application form
- Latest CV
- Proof of APSID membership
- Proposed fellowship objectives and plan, signed by the home institution supervisor.
- Letter of support from the department head of the home institution.
- Acceptance letter from the host CoE supervisor, confirming the proposed schedule and supervision.
CoE Introductions:
Please read our call for application information PDF for more details. Here are two important Eligibility Criteria:
- The maximum age of candidates is 40 years as of the date of application. Applicants born before 1st January 1987 will not be considered under this fellowship.
- Active APSID member.
Deadline
Applications for the 2026 Fellowship must be submitted by 30 September 2026. Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.

The APSID IEI School will be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, followed by the APAAACI Congress. The following is the date and venue of the event:

Abstract Submission Guidelines
- Abstract word limit is 250 maximum
- Please submit your abstracts to the APSID Secretariat at email: apsid@apsocid.org by August 2, 2026.
- Include “Abstract Submission for 2026 APSID IEI School Vietnam” in the email subject line
We welcome abstract submissions from both active and new APSID members. If you are not yet a member but wish to submit, please register on our official website. Additionally, we kindly remind you to renew your membership if it has expired.
